Depression is a very hard on people and even harder to treat. There is more than 17 percent of Americans that are depressed. Depression is the highest prevalent occurrence today in the United States. However, the treatment has not been developed yet. There are so many anti depressants on the market, how do you know which one works? If there are so many, maybe that means there is not only one that works, but many, so why have they not narrowed it down to only one.

Exercise does wonders for you mentally and physically. Exercise has profound effects on some who is depressed. Exercise helps people cope with stress and the more stress people have on them, will make them feel depressed.
Exercising will help you reduce the amount of stress in your life, and lower your depression levels. Exercising will take a depressed person's mind off of the daily issues they have and give them relief from what bothers them. It will not only help them physically, but help them mentally.
Physically they might feel better about themselves and this will help their depression, if they give their brain a break from thinking of all the things that bother them, then some of the depression will go away. Depression does not have to rule your life, you can beat it. You can beat it without meds, just get out and walk.
